DTM Unveils Primera RFID Label Printer for the EMEA Region

The Primera RX500e color RFID label and tag printer were officially launched by DTM Print, a global OEM and technology supplier for specialty printing devices, to clients in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

DTM Print are pioneers in specialty printing having over 32 years of experience in developing individual printing services.

Introduced last year, RX500e is an integrated label and tag printer full-color on-demand RFID. Labels are printed in a single pass, encoded and checked.Finished labels are then sliced using the internal guillotine-style cutter and dispensed one at a time. Honeywell provides the built-in UHF RFID reader / encoder module. It complies with the requirements of EPC Global Gen 2 Class 1 and ISO 18000-6B and -6C.

Print resolution is up to 4800dpi, printing rates up to 2.5 inches per second. All clients are free to obtain the BarTender UltraLite and NiceLabel Free development software (both for Windows). Both are used to model the tags, but the RFID encoding capacity, accessible in upgraded variants of the software, is essential with RX500e.

RX500e is now accessible in the EMEA region through licensed DTM Print resellers and distributors.DTM Print offers up to 24 months warranty for all units within the EU (including EFTA countries): 12 months with purchase and the option of additional 12 months free after the product has been registered on the company website within the first six months of purchase.
