Al Ashram Investments, a Dubai-based leading investment firm, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Aramex, a leading global provider of comprehensive logistics and transportation solutions, to build and leaseback its new Express Courier Facility in Dubai.
The new facility costing Dh75 million ($20.41 million) will be located in Umm Ramool area on Dubai Airport Road. It will be constructed by Al Ashram Contracting on a fast-track build-to-suit basis with an expected completion within seven months.
It has been designed to employ the latest technologies to serve Aramex’s growing customer base more effectively and efficiently, in line with the company’s continuous efforts to upgrade its operations to simplify its customers’ experiences, said a statement.
Al Ashram will construct the new Express Courier Facility in full compliance with Dubai’s Green Building Regulations and Specifications which aim to create a more sustainable urban environment.

The new facility would be constructed on a build-to-suit basis as Aramex is the single occupant of the property. This will allow Aramex the freedom to include its specific requirements in the construction of the building without owning the property, it said.
