The deepening partnership is boosting growth for Federal-Mogul Motorparts products in a market that traditionally favours incumbent brands and rewards an extensive local presence. The UAE automotive aftermarket is driven by the need to maintain two million vehicles on the road, and also serves export customers across Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Saudi Arabia's aftermarket is spurred by the seven million plus vehicles on the country's roads. While a relatively smaller market with fewer than one million vehicles, Lebanon's importance is enhanced by its status as re-export hub.
