At this year’s Dubai International Motor Show, Cadillac’s stunning Escala concept car will make its first appearance allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the design innovations that are driving the next phase of the brand’s ongoing expansion.
Cadillac’s Escala concept amplifies the new design DNA of the New York car brand that was introduced with the new XT5 and CTX6 models, which will be on display on the stand.
Cadillac has also announced that the new 2018 XTS Platinum will also enjoy its regional debut at the region’s largest automotive show.
Designed to be both an indulgent flagship sedan and a driver’s car, Cadillac’s Escala concept showcases future design and technical systems in development and is a concept for a more expressive, expansive companion to the recently launched CT6.

The XT5 and CT6 already benefit from Cadillac’s new styling approach, and new 2018 models from both ranges will be on display. The CT6 has all the prestige, size, and technology of a large luxury sedan while offering efficiency and driving dynamics of a mid-size sports sedan. The XT5 combines spacious luxury and high-tech convenience features to create the perfect crossover.
The Cadillac stand at the show will also host the brand’s flagship model, the 2018 Escalade, which features a new 10-speed automatic transmission and bold new interior and exterior colour options. The Escalade has long defined spacious luxury driving, with its powerful capabilities, modern design, and sumptuous amenities that keep luxury firmly in the driver’s seat.
Set for a regional debut, the newly redesigned 2018 XTS Sedan joins a new generation of Cadillac design and technology. The XTS Platinum will be available on display at the Cadillac stand with exclusive features that heighten the appeal of this elegant sedan even further.
A wide range of new 2018 models will complete the Cadillac line-up at the show, including the high-performance V-Series, represented by the ATS-V and CTS-V.
For show-goers looking for an adrenaline rush Cadillac’s performance models will also be on display. Bringing both luxury and power in one machine, the Cadillac CTS-V Super Sedan is the third generation of the acclaimed luxury performance sedan powered with a supercharged 6.2L V-8 engine, SAE certified at 640 horsepower (477 kW) and 630 lb-ft of torque (855 Nm).
Joining the CTS-V will be the Cadillac ATS-V Sedan and Coupe models with their track-honed design, chassis and suspension elements which complement the cars’ twin-turbocharged powertrain, providing true track capability, performance and driver control without modifications or special procedures.
