German automaker, Borgward, has opened its new distribution centre in Dubai which will decrease the shipping time to 2-5 days for the delivery of the products from the day of order placed.

They have opened their new showroom in Dubai which is in partnership with Union motors, Borgward’s exclusive UAE distributor. It will supported by a new auto parts DC.

Borgward made entry in GCC (Gulf corporation council) car market in 2017 in the month of November with Middle East versions of its BX5 and BX7 SUV models.

“The opening of the central warehouse in Dubai’s Jafza reflects our commitment to delivering excellent service to our customers and underscores our continuing efforts to become a trusted service partner,” said Tom Anliker, senior vice president of Borgward Group.

The facility will be run by Maxx logistics, A subsidiary of Almajdouie Group and Sinotrans company based out of Jafza, on behalf of the German automaker. Maxx logistics will be taking care of everything from the inventory space to door to door logistics. They will have about 16000 sqm warehouse space for storage to fulfill the regional demands.

Borgward is looking forward to expand the DC to include 30,000 spare parts spread over 25,000-sqm over the next few years.
