Weir Oil & Gas Dubai recently announced that it has signed multi-year contracts with two international oil companies in Iraq totaling more than $50 million.

The contracts secure the provision of Weir Oil & Gas workshop services and engineering support for an oil field and valve repair and maintenance services for another giant oil field, respectively.

Positive past performance with the international oil companies as well as Weir Oil & Gas’ in-country capabilities, local content, in-house engineering and comprehensive international facility near the customers’ sites made Weir the logical choice. These deals further combine Weir’s Rig to Grid capabilities in the Middle East.
