Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s representative office in Kenya recently carried out a study mission to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

This was to allow them to explore business potential in the healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, energy, tourism and hospitality sectors of the country.

The study mission, was led by Omar Khan, Director of International Offices, Dubai Chamber and various officials from the chamber examined new investment opportunities emerging across the region.

Officials of the Dubai Chamber visited the UAE Embassy in Dar es Salaam where they were received by Khalifa Abdulrahman Almarzooqi, UAE Ambassador to Tanzania, and Mohammed Ibrahim Albahri from the UAE Embassy in Tanzania.

The study mission also constituted visits to the Tanzania Trade Development Authority, Tanzania Investment Centre, Export Processing Zones Authority and the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.
