Delegation from the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company, SEHA, has visited the Republic of Korea and participated in Medical Korea 2019, an international healthcare conference organised by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute, KHIDI.

The delegation met with Park Neung-hu, who is the Minister of Health and Welfare of Korea, and discussed idea and ways to boost cooperation between the two parties by training UAE medical staff in Korean universities and hospitals.

The delegation also had the chance to meet with Abdullah Saif Ali Al Nuaimi, UAE Ambassador to South Korea, and members of the UAE Diplomatic Mission to further medical tourism by providing medical treatment for Emiratis and smoothening their arrival to Korea.

The SEHA delegation, invited by the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare, also visited Emirati patients who are receiving treatment in Korean hospitals to show support and help and check in progress.

They also visited various prominent and well known hospitals in Korea including the Kyung Hee University Medical Centre, Seoul Hospital, Ansan Hospital, Severance Hospital and Anam Hospital to learn about the Korean experience in healthcare.

They were also instructed and informed on the latest technologies which are used in the healthcare sector, Korea's experience in medical tourism, and customer care services.
