Qatar With the goal of exploring business opportunities, Development Bank (QDB), a development institution established to invest in and develop local ventures and support private sector companies in the state of Qatar, is set to hold a matchmaking event in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

It is aimed to offer both Ethiopian and Qatari business representatives from the private sector exposure to potential opportunities aiming to increase their footprints in both countries.

The trade mission of Qatar led by the Bank aims to bring Qatari companies into contact with potential Ethiopian agents, importers, distributors/ wholesalers, local businesses and government agencies to discuss and explore possibilities of mutually beneficial trade relationships.

Several identified Ethiopian companies have confirmed their meeting appointments with selected Qatari companies to discuss and explore possibilities of mutually beneficial trade relationships.
