Rizek, an Abu Dhabi-based home services platform, held a press conference to announce its entry into Egypt.

Rizek's CEO and founder, Abdullah Abu Sheikh, stated that the firm began approximately a year ago in the UAE with the goal of offering diverse service suppliers with a platform that links them with end consumers.

Abu Sheikh explained, “We realized that Egypt is the Middle East's and Africa's largest market, with considerable potential for expanding our services. As a result, we decided to visit the Egyptian market.”

According to Manar Al-Amin, CEO of Rizek Egypt, the nation has the largest market in the area, and Rizek is experiencing significant economic expansion, making the opportunity appropriate for delivering our services in Egypt.

“We'll focus on two important industries: the health sector, which includes lab testing and home visits, and the cosmetics business. Before the end of the year, more services will be available,” Al-Amin stated.

Rizek has obtained around $13.5 million in two funding rounds, the most recent of which was worth $10 million, with the goal of expanding in the Egyptian market. Egypt, the firm believes, would serve as a base for its development into African markets.
