Dubai based healthcare firm signs MoU with Ethiopia's Ministry of Health

The Ethiopian Ministry of Health and the Job Creation Commission (JCC) have inked a trilateral MoU with the UAE-based Response Plus Holdings PJSC in order to increase job possibilities for Ethiopian people.

The signing ceremony took place during the visit of Ethiopian Minister of Health H.E Dr. Lia Tadesse to Abu Dhabi. The MoU, which embodies the ambition of both nations' leaders, aims to increase career prospects for Ethiopian experts in the UAE.

Response Plus Holdings PJSC is the biggest supplier of on-site healthcare management and medical emergency transports from remote work sites in the United Arab Emirates. The firm, which administers over 260 location clinics and owns Abu Dhabi's biggest private ambulance fleet, was recently listed on ADX's Second Market.

"I commend the leadership of the UAE for easing the route for Ethiopian job seekers to discover professional prospects in the nation. This will greatly assist Ethiopian professionals, particularly those in the medical industry, in expanding their knowledge and gaining experience at the UAE's most advanced and globally approved facilities," Dr. Tadesse stated.

This relationship begins with Response Plus Holdings PJSC employing 200 or more nursing specialists (in stages) in several top-tier hospitals, such as Burjeel Medical City in the UAE.

"Providing jobs to these specialists is simply one of the areas of our engagement with the Ministry of Health and JCC of Ethiopia," stated Major Tom Louis, CEO of Response Plus Holdings PJSC. Response Plus Holdings is also opening an office in Ethiopia to help the Ministry of Health's efforts to strengthen tertiary care, emergency services, and human resource development in accordance with international standards. This measure will go a long way toward enhancing Ethiopia's overall healthcare services.

During this attempt of improving Ethiopia's healthcare infrastructure, Response Plus Holdings PJSC is also looking at ways to collaborate closely with the country's current private healthcare providers. The company's primary focus would be on boosting the country's diagnostic services, supply chain management, and super speciality requirements in cancer, cardiac sciences, and trauma care.
