The Dubai Gas Company is planning a $15 million investment in Pakistan

The UAE-based Brother Gas will invest $15 million in Pakistan to set up an industrial gas plant in M3 Industrial area in Faisalabad, said Board of Investment (BOI).

“Secretary BOI, Fareena Mazhar, met with Kashif Maqsood, Managing Director of Brothers Gas, one of the leading oil & gas companies in Dubai. Maqsood confirmed their plan to set up a bottling plant at Special Economic Zone in Faisalabad,” BOI announced via its Twitter Handle on Wednesday.

The investment, according to the Secretary of the BOI, is a huge step forward in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) and lowering imports in Pakistan.

The first phase will entail the construction of a facility in Faisalabad's M3 industrial district, which will serve the local market and assist export to surrounding markets. It will feature almost 1000 different industrial gases.

They want to build an Aerosol Propellant Gas "APG" factory in Pakistan rather than importing it. For the first time in Pakistan, refrigerant gases and ADNOC lubricants will be introduced as part of the project.
