The launch of Al Damani's new 45,000-sqft facility by M Glory Holding Group and Dubai Industrial City, a component of TECOM Group PJSC, marks a significant development in the production of electric vehicles in response to a growing demand for green mobility to lower carbon emissions worldwide. The temporary assembly line, which can produce a maximum of 10,000 automobiles annually, is housed in the new plant.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the factory was presided over by Dr. Majida Al-Azazi, chairman of the board of directors of M Glory Holding Group, and Saud Abu Al-Shawareb, executive vice president of industrial leasing at TECOM Group PJSC, as well as other prominent businesspeople and media representatives.

Dr. Majida Al-Azazi, the chairman of the board of directors of M Glory Holding Group, announced the official opening of the Damani Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Factory today. It is the first and only factory of its kind to be built in the UAE that complies with international standards and will produce eco-friendly electric vehicles, supporting efforts to reduce carbon pollution globally.
According to Dr. Al Azazi, This short term plant for the production of electric vehicles is situated on the million-square-foot oasis and will be utilized until the sustainable and comprehensive facility in Dubai Industrial City is completed it will be functional within the next two years and have a production capacity of 55,000 electric cars annually.
She stated, The cars will be competitive and durable, bringing quality contribution to the electric car market due to their compatibility with the environment and climate of the Gulf area.
Dr. Al-Azazi emphasised that the UAE government's 50 principles had made a significant contribution to the nation's industrial sector, which is currently enjoying a beautiful rebirth. By advancing national industrial institutions and businesses, improving their operations, and opening up new markets that have allowed them to grow globally, such vision has accelerated the sector's development.
