Tanzania Is Promoting Trade In Full Force

TANTRADE, the Tanzania Trade Development Authority, has emphasized important milestones in advancing Tanzanian trade under President Samia Suluhu Hassan's four-year term.

Tanzania's involvement in the recent event in Dubai, where the nation signed 36 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) valued at 7.49 billion US dollars (roughly 17.35 trillion/-), is one example of this.

The government is still dedicated to boosting trade and economic growth, according to TANTRADE Director General Latifa Khamis, who told reporters in Dodoma that significant progress has been made since President Samia took office.

She pointed out that Tanzania's export volumes have significantly increased under President Samia's leadership.

According to Ms. Khamis, trade agreements with nearby nations and important international markets have contributed to a significant increase in exports over the last four years.

Ms. Khamis expressed hope for Tanzania's future as President Samia continues to guide the country toward a new era of trade and economic growth.

With continued initiatives to improve trade infrastructure, assist small businesses, and encourage sustainable trade, TANTRADE is well-positioned to have a significant impact on the direction of the country's economy.

Ms. Khamis also emphasized significant expenditures on trade infrastructure, such as enhanced transportation systems. According to Ms. Khamis, the growth of trade depends on effective infrastructure. She claimed that the government's efforts have improved the business climate and enabled them to flourish. She also emphasized Tanzania's e-commerce's explosive growth, which has been fueled by government initiatives to digitize trade procedures.

In order to help local businesses reach a wider audience, TANTRADE has been leading the charge in promoting digital platforms.
