At the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, KenInvest hosted the Africa Regional Director as part of a strategic engagement to strengthen bilateral investment ties. With more than 450,000 members and 36 international offices, including seven in Africa, the Dubai Chamber is a major force behind outbound foreign direct investment (FDI) from Dubai.
The Comprehensive Economic Partnership Act (CEPA) has further strengthened the close economic ties between Kenya and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). A shared dedication to promoting closer investment collaboration can be seen in this partnership.
In order to draw in high-impact investments, KenInvest emphasized the value of investor targeting and relationship-building throughout the meeting. KenInvest is actively marketing Kenya as a top investment destination for investors based in the United Arab Emirates, in close collaboration with the Dubai Chamber.
The goal of the continuing partnership is to create a robust pipeline of investment opportunities that complement Kenya's development priorities and offer appealing opportunities to investors from the United Arab Emirates.
