Masdar has signed a comprehensive roadmap with the Ethiopian government that will prompt the delivery of up to 2,500 megawatts (MW) solar projects, according to a press statement.

During his visit to Ethiopia, UAE President, Sheik Mohamed container Zayed Al Nahyan signed the roadmap, as a part of Etihad 7 UAE program.

In January, Masdar inked a concurrence with the Ethiopia to foster solar photovoltaic energy projects with a limit of up to 2,000 megawatts in Ethiopia, beginning with 500 megawatts in the first stage.
