Seagull, a UAE-founded leader in HVAC solutions, has strengthened its industrial footprint with the launch of a cutting-edge manufacturing facility at Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ).
The company has invested AED15 million ($4.08 million) to establish its manufacturing unit in RAKEZ’s Al Ghail Industrial Zone. Covering an area of 17,045 sq m, the facility includes a pre-built manufacturing plant designed to maximise operational efficiency while prioritising employee wellbeing. The plant is now fully operational, with continuous upgrades underway to set new standards for world-class manufacturing environments.
With a monthly production capacity of 50,000 sq m of GI coils, the facility will cater to key regional markets such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Qatar. Seagull presently has a workforce of 180 employees, which is expected to grow to 300 by mid-2026 as production scales up and new product lines come on stream.
This development represents the next stage of Seagull’s growth strategy in Ras Al Khaimah. The company plans to double its factory floor space and expand staff accommodation facilities by 2026 to meet rising demand.
Commenting on the expansion, Seagull CFO Taimor Khan said Ras Al Khaimah has emerged as a strategic hub for the company, offering a cost-efficient and growth-focused business environment. He highlighted RAKEZ’s professionalism and support, noting that the team played a crucial role in enabling a smooth transition from planning to full-scale operations by providing clear guidance, efficient processes, and access to suitable infrastructure.
RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad welcomed Seagull’s expansion, stating that the new facility reflects the strong confidence industrial players have in Ras Al Khaimah’s robust industrial ecosystem and business-friendly climate. He reaffirmed RAKEZ’s commitment to supporting ambitious companies through world-class infrastructure, streamlined services, and long-term partnerships that enable regional and global growth.
With this expansion, Seagull is poised to further strengthen the UAE’s HVAC manufacturing capabilities while contributing to the continued growth of Ras Al Khaimah’s industrial sector.
