Aster Volunteers Launch 3 New mobile medical services for MENA Disaster Relief

In order to help victims in crisis zones in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, Aster Volunteers, the worldwide CSR arm of Aster DM Healthcare, has highlighted its most recent three Mobile Medical Service units from Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital, Al Qusais in Dubai. With their cutting-edge facilities, the recently opened units seek to improve healthcare accessibility by providing vital medical and healthcare services directly to underprivileged people.

The new mobile units are outfitted with solar panels to generate renewable energy and are connected to a telemedicine setup. They were introduced as part of the internal "Asterians United" campaign involving Aster DM Healthcare workers. This makes it possible for people in need in remote locations to access complete diagnostic and specialist medical care. The communities in need will receive direct access to consultations, first-aid care, and other critical medical services via the mobile medical vans. Through the NGO Jeunes d'Atlas, these will be used to assist victims of natural disasters in the Atlas Mountains in the Taroudant Region of Morocco, and through Emirates Red Crescent, they will be used for quick, short-term missions in disaster-affected areas in West Asia and Africa.

Aster DM Healthcare's unique CSR program, Aster Volunteers Mobile Medical Services (AVMMS), offers free medical camps and disaster relief assistance to underserved populations in isolated locations with the goal of closing the accessibility gap in healthcare. AVMMS has improved lives in areas with little to no access to healthcare facilities by treating over 1.4 million patients in India, the Middle East, and Africa since its founding. Emirates Red Crescent, Asterians United, and the Aster DM Foundation (ADMF) International all support the effort. New mobile units will be added in Rwanda, Uganda, Sri Lanka, and Nepal in the future as part of the ongoing effort to assist underprivileged areas.

"With the AVMMS initiative, we are dedicated to providing our healthcare services to those in need," stated Dr. Azad Moopen, founder and chairman of Aster DM Healthcare. Through the utilization of cutting-edge technologies and environmentally friendly methods, our goal is to significantly improve the health and welfare of marginalized populations. We believe that providing accessible healthcare is essential, and these recently introduced mobile medical units are a critical first step in that direction."

Aster Volunteers has demonstrated a remarkable ability to deliver healthcare services via mobile units, and the program is still growing as new units are slated to be deployed in other underprivileged areas. Aster DM Healthcare is steadfast in its commitment to delivering affordable healthcare to everyone by utilizing creative and environmentally friendly solutions. The introduction of these three new units is a critical turning point in this adventure and reaffirms Aster's commitment to the health and well-being of people everywhere.
