Al Tayer Motors, the official importer for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles in the UAE, recently launched the all-new Jaguar XE at a gala event that took place at the swanky Four Seasons Resort on Jumeirah’s Beach Road. The latest addition joins the XF, XJ and F-Type in the British marque’s line-up.

The rear-wheel drive Jaguar XE is the only vehicle in its class to use an aluminium-intensive monocoque. The extremely robust yet light structure, together with double wishbone front suspension and an Integral Link rear axle, plays a fundamental role in the XE’s dynamics.

The Jaguar XE is available in the UAE with a range of engines, beginning with the turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that comes in two flavours: 197 horsepower/280Nm of torque and 237 horsepower/340Nm of torque. For customers demanding superior performance, the Jaguar XE S which shares its supercharged 3.0-litre V6 with the F-TYPE sports car, is also available.

Speaking at the event, Bruce Robertson, Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan said: “The Jaguar XE is one of the most exciting products to be launched by Jaguar in recent times and we strongly believe this car will drive Jaguar to the top of the competitive sports saloon segment.”

The Jaguar XE with a starting price of AED 169,000/- is available to book through Al Tayer Motors showrooms in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, and Premier Motors showrooms in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The price includes a five year / 250,000kms warranty and roadside assistance as well as five year / 65,000kms service contract.
